Welcome to Hopkins Elementary! I have lots fun and exciting things planned for the upcoming year! We had a great first day. We had "magic playdough" which predicted if we were going to have a great year or not! I am happy to say that it's going to be a great year for ALL of us! Please make sure you check back frequently to see the fun things we are doing in our classroom.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!
We had fun reading the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin! Here are some fun activities we did with the book...
Melanie adding letters to her coconut tree. |
Did you know that a coconut has an outer shell? |
We graphed who liked coconut. All but 4 liked it. |
Delicious coconut trees made out of graham crackers, apples, and raisins. |
